Bespoke Sculptures Stun at Mystery Creek Fieldays 2025
Last week, we had the pleasure of exhibiting at the renowned Mystery Creek Fieldays – the largest agricultural event in the Southern Hemisphere. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our handcrafted Corten steel and bronze sculptures in a uniquely curated space, beautifully landscaped by the expert team at HapPea Landscaping.
A Space Where Nature Meets Art
Surrounded by lush grasses, natives, and architectural plants, our collection came to life under HapPea’s thoughtful planting design. The combination of organic elements and our industrial-inspired sculptures created a harmonious and eye-catching display that sparked countless conversations. Our stand drew in farmers, Families, Equestrian lovers and art enthusiasts, all intrigued by the blend of nature and handcrafted form.
The Red Stag: A Crowd Favourite
A major attraction at our stand was the life-sized Red Stag sculpture – a commanding Bronze piece that stopped visitors in their tracks. Hundreds took the opportunity to snap a photo beside it, making it one of the most talked-about artworks of the event. The Red Stag powerfully represented our connection to the land and the strength of New Zealand’s wildlife.
Featured Works That Turned Heads
Totem Columns
These stacked Bronze/railway sleeper forms added verticality and movement to the garden beds. Each one uniquely textured, they stood proudly among the native plants, offering structure and artistry to the landscape.
Layered Woman
A flowing and emotive piece made from laser-cut layers of Stainless-steel, Layered Woman offered a sense of fluidity and depth that drew many curious onlookers.
Kea Sculpture
Perched amongst tall grasses, our Kea – crafted in bronze – captivated with its detail and character. It’s a celebration of our cheeky alpine parrot, brought to life with exceptional craftsmanship.
Bronze Kiwi
Another nod to Aotearoa’s native species, our Bronze Kiwi nestled subtly in the garden beds, delighting those who spotted it. Its presence offered a quiet moment of discovery and a connection to New Zealand’s treasured birdlife.
Farm Station Posts
Our Farm Station Posts were a hit with rural visitors. These rustic corten and timber combinations blend function with form – perfect for station entrances, driveways, or fencing features with artistic flair.
Horse Head Sculpture
Towering and dramatic, our huge bronze Horse Head was a powerful presence at the site. Its bold form and scale drew admiration for its realism and raw beauty – a celebration of equine strength and spirit.
Healing Hands
Emerging from the earth, our Healing Hands sculpture was both grounding and emotive. Reaching skyward, the piece sparked conversation around growth, resilience, and human connection with the land.
